World 1-5 of New Super Mario Bros is set in the sky, similarly to World 1-3.
Walkthrough
At the beginning of the level, there are several bouncy pink mushrooms, which Mario can use to grab the coins above him. Then, there are some Question Blocks, which contain coins and a power-up. The first Star Coin of the level is just after this. It can be reached by jumping on the pink mushrooms. Mario will then jump off the pink mushrooms onto a green one, where he will encounter a red Koopa Troopa. After that, even more pink mushrooms will appear, but this time Koopa Troopas are walking across, meaning that Mario has to be careful. Just past this, there are two pits and a red Koopa. Then, there are several dropping platforms, and the second Star Coin. There is also a Warp Pipe which can be entered by using the dropping platforms. Inside, there is a big red mushroom which Mario can ride. The mushroom will move through many coins, and in a mushroom formation of coins, there will be the third and final Star Coin of the level. If Mario chooses not to do this, he will encounter two green Koopa Paratroopas, and then more pink bouncy mushrooms. Here, there are six Question Blocks, and one of them contains a power-up. After two pits, Mario will find a Red Ring, and he has to bounce on the mushrooms to get the Red Coins. There is also a Goomba and a Koopa Troopa. After another Paratroopa and some more bouncy mushrooms, Mario will find four Brick Blocks, and he can use the mushrooms to get a large amount of coins from these blocks. Then, there will be a Goomba and some more bouncy mushrooms, and then Mario will slide down the flagpole and exit the level.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Near the beginning, the first Star Coin will be in plain sight. Use the pink mushrooms to obtain it.
- Star Coin 2: Use the dropping platforms to jump onto a smaller orange mushroom where the Star Coin will be.
- Star Coin 3: Use some dropping platforms to go up a Warp Pipe. You find an area with a moving orange mushroom and coins in the sky that you can collect. Near the end, the last Star Coin will be surrounded by other Coins. Use the mushroom to get it.
