Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 is a game released by Nintendo in 1994 for the Game Boy, and is the debut of Wario as the main protagonist. It is the sequel to Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. The game begins when Wario learns about a hidden golden statue in the center of Kitchen Island and goes out to steal it. Mario also receives tell-tale reports of this nature as well and decides that he would like to give it to Princess Peach. His reasoning for this is unknown, but despite this, he arrives before a consequently infuriated Wario arrives.
