Spinia, as it appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
|First Game||Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door|
Spinias are enemies in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
HistoryThey are spinning disc enemies that are colored green. They spin at Mario, trying to attack. Spinias are found throughout Rogueport Sewers and attack all prey they see. Later on in the game, when Bowser takes command of the sewers, few Spinias can be found. Occasionally, they'll aid a Magikoopa or Hammer Bro. in battle, though. They can also be found in the first section of the Pit of 100 Trials. Spinias have two evolved forms, Spanias and Spunias, the latter being of the most powerful basic enemies in the game.
There was to originally be a Spinia with a hamburger-like shape and form that was to be a party member for Luigi. There's coding that reveals this form in the game, but it wasn't implemented in the game.
