History[]

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story[]

In this game, Private Goomp, along with Corporal Paraplonk and Sergeant Guy, find their real leader Bowser, where he needs a Banzai Bill to help break into his castle, after Fawful had taken over it. Private Goomp and the others said that one was around and Bowser has to go and search for it. Bowser succeeds in finding one from a Wiggler and launches the bullet at Fawful's Castle. However, the castle ends up crushing Bowser which makes Private Goomp and the others worry. However, Bowser soon turns giant and defeats his castle. Private Goomp isn't seen again until after Bowser comes to Blubble Lake near the Tower of Yikk, then Bowser follows him and he tells Bowser that the next Star Cure is in his castle. After Bowser goes to his castle, defeats the train and remembers the combination, he gets into the safe to get the Star Cure. However, Private Goomp and the others betray Bowser, pushes him into the safe, and lock it. Private Goomp then says that they will get paid greatly by Fawful. However, once Fawful is defeated, Private Goomp and the others beg Bowser for forgiveness. Bowser eventually forgives them and yells them to help fix back up his castle.

In this game, Private Goomp and the others have been promoted at some point where they assist Bowser and Antasma in the take over of the world. Private Goomp was part of an ambush after Mario was fooled by a fake Princess Peach. Private Goomp, along with Corporal Paraplonk and Sergeant Guy, then fight Mario with their many arsenal of attacks. However, Private Goomp accidentally tells Mario that the only way to defeat them is to knock them out all at the same time. An angry Sergeant Guy hits Private Goomp for telling that information. After he and the others are defeated, Private Goomp has been demoted to scrubbing the new castle by Kamek.

Trivia[]
