Mushroom Boy is a male Toad with red stripes on his mushroom cap.
History[]
In the game, Mushroom Boy used to live in Rose Town but decided to move to Seaside Town to open his very own Item Shop. Unlike most other Item Shops, Mushroom Boy's Shop doesn't sell the usual items and weapons. Instead, Mario can give Mushroom Boy rare Mushrooms to trade for a useful item, even a Flower Tab. However, if Mario offers to trade an ordinary Mushroom, the Mushroom Boy does not give him anything.
