Luigi's Mansion

The Mirror Room is a room in Luigi's Mansion and its Nintendo 3DS version.

Description[]

The Mirror Room is a long room with two chandeliers, two candelabras, and a torch. There is a small drawer against the east wall, where a painting also hangs. A long mirror spans across most of the north wall, and it is the only mirror in the mansion that does not teleport Luigi to the Foyer if he scans it with the Game Boy Horror; this is because the vines obstructing the door do not instantly disappear once Luigi has completed the room.

In Luigi's Mansion[]

The Mirror Room is accessed from the door on the right side of the Fortune-teller's Room. When Luigi enters the Mirror Room, the door behind him is sealed from white vines. There are five blue Grabbing Ghosts for Luigi to fight, but all of them are only visible in the reflection of the mirror. Once the ghosts have been captured, the lights turn on, and a red treasure chest containing the Fire Element Medal appears. The door's vines do not immediately disappear once the lights turn on, so in order for Luigi to leave, he has to obtain the Fire Element Medal so that he can vacuum in a Fire Elemental Ghost from a nearby torch and use its effects to unleash fire onto the two candles in the room. Once this is done, the door is unsealed, and Luigi can exit the Mirror Room.

During the blackout, six Grabbing Ghosts can be encountered in the Mirror Room.
