In the Mario Party series, The Mini-game Timer (Also known as the Minigame Clock) shows how much time is left during a mini-game. It comes in various amounts: :03, :05 :10, :15, :20, :30, :45, 1:00, 1:30, 3:00 and 5:00. The timer will flash when there are only five seconds left. Sometimes the timer is also used in ? space challenges & Mini-mini-games.

The design of the timer and the time limit varies depending on which Mario Party game you're playing and which mini-game is being played.

The timer starts when the Mini-game Referee says "Start"/"Go!" and the game begins but when time is up, the clock stops, or when you're the last player standing before the timer expires, then the word "Finish!" will appear on the game screen, signifying the end of the mini-game.
