  • It's not a good idea to limit how much someone can edit a page in a day. Especially if a page is being newly constructed and will require many edits. Sometimes grammar mistakes need to be fixed after an edit, or they realize they could word it better. In any case, I haven't found these rules to be posted on your wiki anywhere where someone could be expected to easily find them. So you can't seriously expect to enforce them. I also doubt these rules have been discussed and/or approved by the community. Most people aren't here to compete in some popularity contest to see who has the most edits. Although it's pretty obvious that's what you're here for, judging by all the badges that have been made that have been earned only by you. See the link below about how restrictive policies can damage a wiki.

    • Alright, I need to point out several things to you.

One, I do not care for badges. I only enabled badges due to demand. This wiki used to exist without badges and I always believed they were doing fine without them. So don't call me out for editing for badges when I don't even care for them. Never assume things like that as you're only going to make yourself look bad.

Two, other wikis tend to do an "edit warring" rule. When I was on the SpongeBob wiki, that rule was put in place to prevent against users that edit for badges. As I said before, I do not edit here for badges as this wiki never had badges in the first place so your argument is invalid when it comes to this.

Three, why are you suddenly concerned with this on this wiki. As I said, other wikis tend to do this rule as well as, like I said, prevents edit warring. Unless you've talked to those people too, then you shouldn't be discussing this with me. It's not even that bad of a rule. I mean there were users that were making up to 20 edits on the same page a day because they know they can build their edits quicker that way. I don't even do that myself. I don't know why you seem to paint me as the bad guy for doing that as I stated about, I do NOT care for badges. I've been on this wiki for over 5 years and excuse me for saying this but I'm really not going to let some user call me out saying I'm only on this wiki for badges. I've been on this wiki when all other admins departed. I've been on this wiki preventing against vandalism. I've adopted this wiki since there aren't other active admins to prevent against said vandals. You have some nerve saying what you said thinking I'm only here for badges. I've created so many pages on this wiki to help it expand more and I even left another wiki just to focus on editing here more! I've gotten hand cramps, put off personal tasks, and even edited on mobile just to help expand this wiki more. You don't know me at all so don't you dare call me out for only editing for badges as it wasn't even my idea to re-enabled them! Seriously, you really need to check into things more beforehand before making accusations like this because it's really not easy to make me upset and you just did on a very personal level. I only made that rule to prevent against tons of edits on the same page around the same time for obvious edit milking. I don't know why you seem to ignore that.

    • I apologize for the outburst but when someone just brings up that I only edit for badges and popularity, I get offended because I put a lot of darn work here for many years. I doubt you even looked at my past edits and is just calling me out blindly.

    • Contributing to a page multiple times a day isn't always edit warring. Many times they are just polishing the edits they made, or they see something else they could add. Also, people who use mobile devices often have to break up large edits because wikia isn't very mobile friendly and it often crashes the browser, forcing you to restart the whole process.

If you truly don't care about points/edit amount, then why does it matter if someone else edits a page in seven edits instead of one? So what if they get a few more points? Even if each edit is only correcting a spelling or grammar mistake, the wikia is still better off than it was before. Now if they are accomplishing nothing, like adding a letter in one edit and then removing it in another edit, just to build up edits, then I would understand as that's just spam.

In any case, the fact remains that these rules aren't in the rules page. It's not fair to enforce some invisible list of rules that only you and a few others know about. Admins aren't supposed to be the "boss" of the wikia, no matter how long they've been in it. They are meant to enforce the community rules and make occasional deletions when needed. So far I've only seen you warn about it. But it can still discourage users when warned about a rule that doesn't exist. They'll think they are being targetted because you didn't like their edits. And it's especially discouraging when the person who warned them about the nonexistant rule is an admin. But if the rules were posted, they'd know it's nothing personal when they are called out, and that they can still edit without fear so long as they follow those rules.

    • Come on, there's really no point on arguing this.

    • True, I don't have definite proof you two are the same but I can definitely still block you for acting the way you are right now. Seriously. You have like three personal attacks in that "statement" of yours toward me and you think I'm going to let it slide. Even if you're not the same person, you're definitely getting a week block for your out-of-control behavior.

  • ZeoSpark, there is an article, Snack Basket, that is fully plagiarized from the Mario Wiki. Can you please do something about it?

  • The Wiggler page is just "wiggernation" spammed about 85 times. I just looked at Recent Wiki Activity and I found the page. It needs to be restored!

  • I'm sorry about that, I do wish to help with the Wiki and add to it. It's just the person who messaged me has caused trouble before, I hope I wasn't bothering you there.

    • It's alright. It's just a rather bad habit that users tend to bring outside conversations to this wiki especially if they haven't responded here. Trust me when I say it's happened so much in the past, I had to make a rule about it. It's not really fair to this wiki when users from different wikis want to use this wiki as means of a place to have secret conversations.

    • Well, most music is going to be loud. If it's too loud, then just turn down the volume on your computer when viewing my or other's pages. You can also pause it too if you want.

  • Just telling you that I might do another game review on the home page. I haven't decided what game yet, however, but just letting you know.
