Mechakoopa is a type of Koopa that is controlled by a wind. They first appear in Super Mario World. It has also appeared in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It only appears in the stages that have to do with the ship that Bowser Jr. controls. Their latest appearance is in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
