Mario Tennis is a Mario Tennis game for the Nintendo 64. The whole game was games of tennis and it went on to produce the sequel Mario Power Tennis in 2004. This game was a milestone in Mario history because it marked the first appearance of the popular character Waluigi. Since then, Waluigi has made numerous appearances from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, to Mario Party, to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Mario Tennis has also helped create more Mario sports games with its popularity.
