Description[]
Magma Spaces are a type of space that only appear in the second part of Magma Mine, explored after defeating the mid-boss.
Whenever a Captain lands on a Magma Space, the lava rises an additional two, three, or four spaces, depending on which number is printed by the plus sign on the space, in addition to the lava rising a default number of two spaces. The +2 Magma Space is the most common; the +3 Magma Space is somewhat less common; and +4 Magma Space is the least common of the three.
Trivia[]
- There is an unused +5 Magma Space in the game's coding. A possible reason it went unused is because landing on a +5 Magma Space would make it too difficult for the characters to escape the lava.
