Leaf Leap is a mini-game that appears in Mario Party 5.
Gameplay
The characters will be required to jump on a beanstalk that leads towards the sky. They will ascend the beanstalk by jumping from leaf to leaf. The leaves on the beanstalk will either appear above the characters' head or the opposite side of the beanstalk. The characters will have to pay attention in what direction the leaf will appear on the beanstalk. If the leaf appears on the opposite of the beanstalk and the character jumps up, they will lose some time. Likewise, if a leaf is located above the characters head but they decide to jump in the opposite direction, they will fall down to the opposite leaf and lose time. Along the way, the characters will be able to view scenery changes and other Mario characters like Paratroopa. For each leaf the character jumps on, they will gain three yards. The character that cover the most yards at the end of thirty seconds will win the mini-game.
