Appearances[]

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars[]

In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Honey Syrup is a basic item that will restore FP. Anyone in Mario's party can use a Honey Syrup, although the amount of FP it replenishes for its user is determined by their level and Flower Points. Honey Syrups can be bought for ten coins apiece in the item shops in Toad Town and Rose Town as well as the food store in Seaside Town.

Paper Mario[]

In Paper Mario, Honey Syrup restores five of Mario's FP. This item is very basic and has better versions in Maple Syrup and Jammin' Jelly. This item can be purchased from the shop in northern Toad Town for a small price around five coins, although the price varies per location. Honey Syrup is used to make Honey Shrooms.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[]

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Honey Syrup retains its effects and uses as its Paper Mario counterpart. The game also adds new recipes that require the Honey Syrup and its recipes to be used. The Honey Syrup is purchased from the Toad Bros. Bazaar in Rogueport.

Super Paper Mario[]

Main article: Honey Jar

Super Paper Mario doesn't actually have the Honey Syrup, which has been replaced with Honey Jar, an item that gives Mario ten HP and cures poison. The Honey Jar is lesser effective that the Honey Syrup.
