Appearances

Paper Mario

In Paper Mario, the Hammer Throw is located on the overpass before Toad Town. If Mario strikes the tree by the overpass, a springboard will fall out of the tree. If Mario utilizes this springboard, he can gain access to the top of the overpass. On top of the overpass Mario will find a treasure chest which contains the Hammer Throw badge.

The Hammer Throw badge costs two BP and two FP to use. When equipped, Mario can choose to use the Hammer Throw attack to throw his Hammer to enemy damage on the enemy.

This badge is useful for injuring flying enemies who are spiked and enemies who cling to the ceiling.
