Gus is a minor character in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

History

He is a member of the Robbo Gang on the east side of Rogueport. He is also an optional boss that Mario can fight. He always guards the entrance to his gang's territory and will charge anyone 10 coins. Of course, you can always not pay and not pass, or fight Gus, which is recommended so that Mario can gain control of the east side for free throughout the whole game. Gus and Mario have a comical conversation if Mario decides to fight him and wins.
