The dark lord Ganondorf is the sinister villain of the Legend of Zelda series who wields the Triforce of Power. He was created by Mario's creator Miyamoto. He appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl as an unlockable character. He is not to be confused with his alternate form, Ganon.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Ganondorf served a key role in the plot of the story mode. He was one of the subspace army's generals. He gave out orders to the other generals and their armies, his only superior being Master Hand.
