Mute City is the final track in the Egg Cup in Mario Kart 8. The course is entirely done in anti-gravity, and the only way to earn coins is to drive over the re-charge pads(the rainbow pads with the rectangle outlines on it). The course originates from the game series F-Zero.

Layout[]

Mute city starts with a bridge above a large, futuristic city with boost pads and recharge pads. The bridge makes a few turns, then corkscrews until it is sideways, then turns more 'swollen'. It corkscrews again, but this time, it goes upside down. It then eventually turns, facing upward again. Then, there is a 90 degree right turn that goes down a steep, zigzagging hill that leads to a rocket that lies above the finish line.

Just before the 90 degree turn, there is a well known shortcut that requires a mushroom. It has a ramp that leads to a hovering platform containing another ramp that would get the player to the finish line quicker.
