The Cursed Mushroom Capsule is a collectible capsule that only appears in Mario Party 5. The Cursed Mushroom capsule is similar to the Curse House in Mystery Land in Mario Party 2 and the Poison Mushroom in Mario Party 3. The character either has the option to use the capsule on themself for a fee, or throw it on the board, where any character will be able to receive the Curse Mushroom's affects. When a character receives a Curse Mushroom, then the numbers on their dice block will be reduced to five as the highest number.
