Clubba is an enemy found in Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario that use their maces as attacks. They appear in Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario in Tubba Blubba's Castle and Shy Guy's Toy Box in the first game and in Gap of Crag in the third Paper Mario game respectively. They are a part of the Koopa Troop.

In the events of Paper Mario, Clubbas guard Tubba Blubba's Castle and can be snuck past if they are sleeping. In Super Paper Mario, they have similar traits as they did in the first game.

Appearance

Clubbas are mainly green in color and have white hairs. They also have black saddles on their backs and are always seen carrying clubs. They resemble Spikes because mainly green in color, the black saddle, and both hold something spiky.

Known Clubbas

  • Tubba Blubba: A much larger and purple Clubba with a spiked shell. He was known for eating Boos being invincible until Mario and company damaged his Heart and the two reunited. Many Clubbas also live in his castle.
  • Grubba: A large blue Clubba that is about the same size as Tubba Blubba. Grubba also used to run the Glitz Pit. Grubba also had another form known as Macho Grubba who is much bigger in appearance being orange in color mainly. He was eventually defeated by Mario and his friends.
  • White Clubbas: Stronger versions of Clubbas that are only found in the Shiver Region.
