Bump Attack is a badge featured in the Paper Mario series. It is the final version of the "Attack Badges" like Dizzy Attack, Spin Attack, and First Attack. The badge activates by, as the name suggests, bumping into an enemy. When Mario bumps into an enemy he no longer receives Star Points from, he automatically defeats the enemy without a battle.

In Paper Mario[]

Bump attack badge

Bump Attack is one of the many items obtainable from Rip Cheato. Rip Cheato will sell a random item to Mario for the cost of 64 coins. The items sold to Mario are unknown until Mario purchases the item, meaning that Mario does not know if he will obtain this badge by way of buying a product from Rip Cheato. It costs five BP to equip Bump Attack.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[]

Bump Attack is found deep within the Pit of 100 Trials, inside of the eightieth floor's chest. Like First Attack, Bump Attack does not work in the Pit of 100 Trials. It will work in any other location, however. Like in Paper Mario, Bump Attack costs five BP to equip.
