Mario Party

The Boo Bell is a recurring item in the Mario Party series. It first appears in Mario Party 2 and returns in Mario Party 3, Mario Party: The Top 100, and Mario Party Superstars.

Description[]

The Boo Bell is a purple bell with a lavender handle, and Boo's face is depicted on the side.

Usage[]

When a character uses the Boo Bell, Boo can be summoned at anytime during their turn. Boo will then steal coins or stars from another character when summoned. However, the character must pay the fee for stealing coins or stars. While the Boo Bell does not appear in later Mario Party games, there are different items that are similar to the Boo Bell.

The victim can fight back (by tapping "A") repeatedly and lose less coins. But they can't fight back if the Boo steals a star. In Mario Party 3, they can scare the Boo away (when he is after their stars or coins) if they have the Boo Repellent. This sprays gas at the Boo when he is after the victim player's coins or stars. And the player --who summoned the Boo (from this item)-- ends up wasting 5 coins (to steal coins) or 50 coins (to steal a star) for nothing.
